I've come full circle on oxford shirts. I first started wearing them for student teaching and my part-time job at a jewelry store because I thought that's what was considered professional clothing. But those shirts eventually always ended up in the back of my closet. I felt like they were too boring and too masculine for my taste. Honestly, the problem wasn't the shirts. It was me. I didn't know how to style it in a way that still felt feminine. Well, nothing say girly like an A-line floral print skirt. And it would be silly to totally ditch oxford shirts - classics are classics for a reason. When you wear an oxford shirt, you do look put-together, crisp, and chic. I just prefer to steer clear of basic black pants while wearing one.

I love seeing your fashion combos but I equally enjoy the backgrounds you choose for your photo shoots. Nice!
ReplyDeleteActually that's one of my favorite parts, too! To go hunting around my neighborhood for good places. I just hope my neighbors don't have a block party and talk about the crazy foreign girl going around and taking pictures in front of everyone's door. Lol.
DeleteI love this look so much!
